50 students awarded Canada’s largest undergraduate scholarship for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)

Creating the next generation of technology innovators (CNW Group/Schulich Leader Scholarships)

TORONTOJune 20, 2018 /CNW/ – We are pleased to announce the seventh cohort of Schulich LeaderScholarship recipients.

Out of a pool of 350,000 potential candidates, 1,400 students were nominated, of which 50 received this celebrated award.

Of the 50 recipients, 25 are pursuing an engineering degree and 25 are pursuing a science, technology or mathematics degree at our 20 Canadian partner universities.

Schulich Leader Scholarships are prestigious entrance scholarships awarded to 50 high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) undergraduate program at 20 partner universities in CanadaEach year, every high school in Canada can submit one Schulich Leader Nominee based on academic excellence in STEM, entrepreneurial leadership and financial need.
