Bill 174, Cannabis, Smoke-Free Ontario and Road Safety Statute Law Amendment Act, 2017

TORONTONov. 23, 2017 /CNW/ – The Standing Committee on Justice Policy will meet to consider Bill 174, An Act to enact the Cannabis Act, 2017, the Ontario Cannabis Retail Corporation Act, 2017 and the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017, to repeal two Acts and to make amendments to the Highway Traffic Act respecting alcohol, drugs and other matters.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 and Thursday, November 30, 2017.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 174 should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the Clerk of the Committee by 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send a written submission to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017.
