TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays return home this week for a pivotal six-game homestand, hosting the Tampa Bay Rays and Detroit Tigers at Rogers Centre. After a morale-boosting sweep of the Seattle Mariners, the Jays will look to carry that momentum into matchups against two familiar American League rivals.
Up First: Three-Game Set vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Toronto will open the homestand with a three-game series against the always-dangerous Tampa Bay Rays, beginning Tuesday, May 13. The Rays (21–19) currently sit third in the AL East but are known for their ability to disrupt divisional opponents. Tampa Bay took two of three when the teams last met in April.

What’s at Stake?
This homestand presents a crucial opportunity for Toronto (20–20) to climb above the .500 mark and make up ground in the tightly packed AL East. After this stretch, the Jays will head back on the road for a series against the Baltimore Orioles.
