
BRAMPTON, ON — The Brampton Steelheads have officially signed defenceman Peter Green, their first-round selection in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection, marking a major addition to the team’s future blue line.
Green, a standout with the Don Mills Flyers, was chosen 14th overall and holds the distinction of being the first defenceman selected in this year’s draft. The 5’11.25”, 176-pound Toronto native tallied 24 points (13 goals, 11 assists) in 25 GTHL regular season games and captained Don Mills to a GTHL championship.

The signing continues the momentum for the newly relocated Steelheads, who are building their Brampton identity around youth, leadership, and elite talent.

The Steelheads play out of the CAA Centre in Brampton, marking their first season in the city after moving from Mississauga. Green is expected to be a cornerstone of the franchise’s long-term plans.
