City announces winners of 2018 Toronto’s Greenest Choice campaign

Today, the City of Toronto announced the winners of the 2018 Toronto’s Greenest Choice, a campaign that invited residents to vote for the places, spaces and businesses that are helping to make Toronto one of the greenest cities in North America.

“As a global leader on the environment, Toronto has much to be proud of including beautiful parks and gardens, bike and trail networks, world-class beaches and a wide range of businesses and organizations that offer green products and services,” said Mayor John Tory. “I congratulate the winners and encourage Toronto residents to explore and enjoy all of these contributors to our great, green city.”

Through an online poll, residents cast more than 80,000 votes for their favourites in 25 categories, including farmers markets, second-hand shops, bike shops, local craft breweries, hiking trails, urban gardens and more. The winner in each category was determined by popular vote.

The 2018 winners are:
