City of Toronto to kick off Youth Week

The City of Toronto, in partnership with R.I.S.E., The Remix Project, Urban Arts and the Toronto Youth Cabinet, will kick off Youth Week celebrations with a special live performance. Councillor Neethan Shan (Ward 42 Scarborough-Rouge River) and City representatives will attend the event to celebrate Toronto youth.

Date: Monday, April 30
Time: 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.

Youth Week runs from May 1 to 7 and will feature a series of events to celebrate and showcase the talents of youth from diverse communities across Toronto in the areas of civic engagement, arts, recreation and sports. A wide range of events and activities are planned, including job fairs, conferences, sport tournaments and art events.
