City of Toronto to launch new Open Data Portal

City Councillor Paul Ainslie (Ward 43 Scarborough East), the City’s Chief Information Officer, Rob Meikle, and other City staff will officially launch the City’s new Open Data Portal. Also in attendance will be members of Toronto’s open data community, tech community and others.

In January, Council approved the City’s first Open Data Master Plan and Roadmap. A key outcome of the Plan is to deliver the new Open Data Portal which is a data visualization webpage that will make the City’s data more accessible to everyone, no matter their technical background or knowledge.
