Elizabeth May Walks As Leader Of Greens

Perspective

The Green Party which has been headed by Elizabeth May was born in the USA and became a Canadian Citizen. She is a lawyer, and writer. She was born in 1954. Now 65 years old, with a husband and a daughter.

As head of the Green Party she led the Green Party to gain 2 additional seats in the October 21, 2019 Federal Elections where she got some 1 million votes. The evening ended with her party getting a total of (3) three seats. She resigned today November 4, 2019 as leader.

We congratulate her on the strides she has made as an environmentalist and head of the Green Party.

Future

She will continue to serve as a MP and will head the Caucus of her party. She is believed to have ambitions to be the Speaker of the House. May has been a MP since 2011.

She plans to hold a leadership contest to select a party leader in 2020.

A Green Party Quebec colleague is interested in replacing Elizabeth May as Greens leader going forward.

The Green Party has a medicare agenda.
