Brampton, ON – The City of Brampton is mourning the loss of former City Councillor Grant Gibson, who passed away after an illustrious 27-year career dedicated to serving the community. Gibson represented Wards 1 and 5 from 1991 to 2018, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and commitment to civic duty.
During his tenure, Gibson held several key roles, including chairing the Community Services, Building and Bylaw, Planning, and Budget Committees. He also served as a long-standing member of Regional Council, playing a pivotal role in shaping Brampton’s growth and development over nearly three decades.
