TORONTO – The Bay Area’s slickest rapper is making his way to Toronto, and fans should get ready for a night of charisma, beats, and West Coast vibes. G-Eazy lands at History on April 8, 2025, with his Freak Show Tour, promising fans a raw, high-energy performance packed with hits and fresh material.

From Oakland to Platinum Plaques

Born Gerald Earl Gillum, G-Eazy began his rise in the underground hip-hop scene before exploding into mainstream success with his 2014 major-label debut, These Things Happen. The album spawned hits like I Mean It and Let’s Get Lost, showing off his cool, calculated flow and moody, cinematic production.

His 2015 follow-up, When It’s Dark Out, took things to the next level with Me, Myself & I (featuring Bebe Rexha), a global hit that pushed him into the spotlight. Since then, he’s earned multi-platinum certifications, headlined international tours, and collaborated with everyone from Halsey and Cardi B to ASAP Rocky and Tory Lanez.

The Freak Show Tour Vibe

G-Eazy’s Freak Show Tour leans into the darker, more experimental side of his artistry. It’s bold, theatrical, and designed to be an immersive experience. Expect moody lighting, surreal visuals, and a setlist that blends his earliest fan favourites with new tracks meant to shake the room.

Toronto fans can expect performances of hits like No Limit, Tumblr Girls, Drifting, and 1942, as well as new material that continues to push his sonic boundaries. The intimate setting of History will only amplify the energy.

More Than Just a Pretty Face

Known for his slick fashion and model looks, G-Eazy has long been more than just aesthetics. He’s built a brand on balancing vulnerability and bravado, often tackling themes of heartbreak, ambition, and mental health in his lyrics.

With the Freak Show Tour, he invites fans into a darker, more unfiltered version of himself. It’s G-Eazy stripped down, turned up, and ready to reconnect with the core of his fanbase.
