Halo Top Blueberry Crumble Launches in Canada (CNW Group/Halo Top Creamery)

TORONTOMarch 18, 2019 /CNW/ – Halo Top Creamery announces a new seasonal flavour, Blueberry Crumble, available nationwide beginning in March. Loaded with pieces of flaky pie crust and mouth-watering blueberry swirls, this limited-edition flavour brings a new level of indulgence to fans, but with 350 calories and 18 grams of protein per pint. This brand new pint is debuting just in time for spring at select retailers across the country including Metro Ontario, Save-on-Foods, select Loblaws banners, Sobeys banners and other select independent retailers.

“Blueberry Crumble is a fan favourite in the U.S., and our Canadian fans made it known that they wanted it up North,” said Doug Bouton, President and COO of Halo Top. “It’s exciting to introduce seasonal and limited-edition flavours to our Canadian fans with many more to come!”

Building on the popularity of Pumpkin Pie and Gingerbread House, Halo Top’s first seasonal flavours in Canada, Blueberry Crumble will hit freezer aisles nationwide in March and remain on store shelves through the end of May. The new flavour delivers on the nostalgic taste of the familiar dessert while offering a completely new way to enjoy the sweet treat for the season.

Halo Top® first launched into Canada in February 2018, and now offers 16 irresistible flavours, including non-dairy options. The pints can be found nationwide at select Loblaw banners, Sobeys banners, Save-on-Foods, Longo’s, Federated Co-Op and at Metro Ontario. With each serving containing just a fraction of the sugar and calories of traditional, full-fat ice cream, Halo Top is the ideal feel good treat for every season and occasion.
