New #MyWineLife Pop Up Offers More Reasons to Smile at This Year’s Niagara Grape and Wine Festival

ST. CATHARINES, ONSept. 20, 2019 /CNW/ – If Wednesday’s sneak peek is any indication of what’s to come in the next two weeks, Niagara Grape and Wine Festival’s #MyWineLife hashtag will be trending in no time thanks to four one-of-a-kind art installations located within the epicentre of the Festival, St Catharines’ Montebello Park.

The all-new pop-up art installation at encourages visitors to step into the Niagara #WineLife without having to leave Downtown St. Catharines.  Four experiential pods offer endless Instagram inspiration with beautiful backdrops celebrating wine country life:

  • A Day In The Vineyard offers guests a picture-perfect perch on a vineyard tractor. A set of virtual reality glasses allows guests to submerge themselves even deeper in the scenery with footage captured at local vineyards.
  • Niagara Sparkles pays homage to Ontario bubbley with a sparkling wine fountain, mirrored walls, hot pink accents and a neon sign.
  • Corktown takes guests beyond the bottle with a wall crafted from 10,000 corks and stately wine barrel thrones. A real-time yearbook installation will build over the course of the Festival as guests write their name and hometown on paper grapes and add them to a corkboard that showcases the clusters.
  • Niagara’s Wine Palette, featuring the work of local painter, Rebecca Montemurro, invites guests to swing into a world of colours that have been Pantone-matched to reflect the actual colours of Niagara wines. Interactive aroma stations showcasing the varietal notes of popular Niagara wines allow guests to engage their sense of smell as well.

In addition to the #MyWineLife installations, a new Wine Garden Lounge set amidst the gorgeous blooms of Montebello Park’s 100-year old rose garden will create opportunities for even more social media snaps at this year’s Niagara Grape and Wine Festival. By buying an all-access Lounge Pass guests can enjoy exclusive access to the Wine Garden Lounge as well as the Harvest Lounge and the Sommelier Lounge, which offer premium bars featuring VQA wines, comfortable lounge seating with incredible stage views and private washrooms.

“#MyWineLife is a really fun way for Niagara Grape and Wine Festival guests to experience the sights, smells and sounds of Niagara Wine Country as they sip their wine right here in Montebello Park.
