TORONTO, Feb. 6, 2019 /CNW/ – Jay Baruchel (John Peter) and Zoe Kazan (Clara) star in THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS, the Ontario Creates-supported Canadian co-production which kicks off the prestigious 69th annual Berlin International Film Festival on February 7 in Germany, marking its world premiere, on the eve of the Berlinale’s European Film Market. The English-language Canada–Denmark co-production (with Sweden, France and Germany) was filmed in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario, as well as in Copenhagen and New York. THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS follows a disparate ensemble of characters, who find laughter, love and kindness in each other.
