Building Healthy and Vibrant Communities Across the Province

Ontario is supporting 145 projects that will make positive changes in communities across the province.

Eleanor McMahon, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, made the announcement today in Toronto at Passerelle Intégration et Développement Économique. This organization is receiving funding to provide training for Francophone immigrants and newcomers who are interested in finding work in the hospitality sector, one of eight Francophone projects receiving support through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

In total, 134 total projects are being funded by the Foundation’s Grow Investment Stream, which helps organizations expand an existing, proven not-for-profit project.
