Oshawa Generals Eliminated by Kingston Frontenac in Round 1 of the 2022 OHL Playoffs

The Oshawa Generals were eliminated in overtime in dramatic fashion ending their 2022 OHL Playoffs run.

It was an entertaining game with the Frontenac being the more dominate team after 2 periods of play.

Kingston had a commanding 4 – 1 lead halfway through the 3rd period before the Generals came back to tie the game with less than 3 seconds left in regulation.  Ty Tullio scored the game tying goal forcing an overtime period and keeping the Generals playoff season alive.

The projected 1st overall pick in the upcoming 2022-23 NHL draft scored the game winner in overtime in Oshawa to give Kingston Frontenac the win and advance them to the next round of the 2022 OHL Playoffs.

The Kingston Frontenac advance to the next round of the 2022 OHL Playoffs after winning the series.  The Frontenac will now face the North Bay Battalion in a round 2 matchup.
