During their call, His Majesty congratulated Prime Minister Carney on his recent election victory. The two leaders expressed deep concern over the worsening situation in Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire to protect civilians and enable the flow of humanitarian aid.
Their conversation also focused on expanding bilateral relations between Canada and Jordan, particularly through enhanced trade and investment. Both leaders agreed on the importance of building resilient economic partnerships and strengthening co-operation in the region.
