They are brilliant examples of how the City can work with partners in the community and the private sector to renew TCHC sites. This revitalization project has been completed on time and on budget, keeping TCHC’s promise to bring families back to their communities this year, and it is another example of Toronto’s continued commitment to improving TCHC.”

—John Tory, Mayor, City of Toronto

“I’m pleased to see Phase 1 of Allenbury Gardens complete and that tenants have been relocated back home, and we’ve welcomed more residents to the community in the Soul condo tower. The new park and amenities will be a wonderful addition for the people of Allenbury, which is already one of the most diverse, community-minded, and vibrant neighborhoods in Toronto. These safe, beautiful new homes will also improve the quality of life for tenants, and expand housing options in my ward.”
