Toronto to host Dig Safe: Construction Safety conference

The City of Toronto will host the Dig Safe: Construction Safety in the GTA conference in partnership with The Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance, which has designated April as Dig Safe Month in Ontario. This month is dedicated to raising awareness of safe digging practices across the province to improve safety and reduce damages to underground infrastructure when digging.

Time: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Location: Toronto City Hall, Council Chamber, 100 Queen St. W.

The conference will bring together over 250 stakeholders from the excavation community, including municipal governments, emergency services, utility companies and construction industry leaders to discuss best practices for safe digging methods to reduce infrastructure damage.
