The second international production of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will begin in 2020 in London’s West End. Featuring original music and Grammy Award-winning lyrics, Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance , from a book by Garry Marshall and screenwriter JF Lawton , featuring the staging and choreography of Jerry Mitchell , a two-time winner The Tony Award, PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL , in London, will be produced by Ambassador Theater Group Productions with Paula Wagner and her team.
Today in Hamburg, Germany, producer Paula Wagner and composers Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance introduce the world to the stars of PRETTY WOMAN’s first international production : THE MUSICAL . German theater stars Vivian performer Patricia Meeden and Edward’s Mark Seibert begin their performances at Hamburg’s Stage Theater an der Elbe on Monday, September 23, 2019. Presented by Stage Entertainment, PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will begin on Sunday September 29, 2019.
The first PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL national tour will begin in October 2020 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Rhode Island .
Successful musical PRETTY WOMAN will pay tribute to legendary artist Roy Orbison by presenting the world-famous ” Oh, Pretty Woman ” masterpiece , written by Roy Orbison and Bill Dees , in the show celebrating the 55th anniversary of famous piece. Released as a single on August 1, 1964, “Oh, Pretty Woman” sold more than seven million copies. He is synonymous with the late Roy Orbison and has become iconic as the title song of the Garry Marshall film . “Oh, Pretty Woman” will be featured in Broadway, National Tour, Hamburg and London productions.
PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL , which is in its twelfth month on Broadway, broke the record four times at the Broadway Nederlander Theater and was three times the winner of the Public Choice Award (Broadway.com). Julia Roberts attended the representation of the musical that breaks all records on August 2, 2018.
