The biggest game of the year is upon us, and it is time to get gametime ready!

Make sure your you are ready for the ultimate kick off this year with everything from the menu, the guests’ team jerseys and more. Cheer on your team with everything you’ve got, and we are here to offer some fun plays to up your game this Sunday.

Home décor:  Set the tone of your home with football themed décor.  Football shaped balloons, tablecloths that look like the field, hanging scoreboards, themed dishes, napkins, cutlery and more! Buying some brown balloons and silver or white sharpies are all you will need to fill your home with balloons designed as footballs for the guests to throw around.

Draft your team: With a little bit of preparedness, you can advise every guest to come to the event in their chosen team’s jersey. You can make it cost effective for those who don’t own any merchandise, by asking them to wear team colours, or make DIY team support such as banners and/or posters or removable tattoos or makeup.

Arrive in style: As we know, every team and player have a touchdown dance, entry song, etc. In your pregame hang out, have every guest create their own epic entrance with a song and dance for them to arrive to your couch with their own signature play.

Food is key: There is no game day without an array of game day food. Finger foods are common at kick-off, but it can be tedious to order from many places, coordinating deliveries, etc. This year we recommend sticking to one restaurant and making the most of it! For instance, choosing Pizza Nova for the big game will allow you to have a variety of signature pizza options, wings, wedges and other classic Italian street fair like arancini, meatballs, garlic bread or hot sandwiches. Variety is the best play for this day and allows your guests to enjoy classic favourites.

From kick off to the final touchdown, make sure your event is filled with fun times, memories and some mouth-watering food that is sure to satisfy your fans!
