Baskin-Robbins introduces Nanaimo Bar as its January Flavour of the Month

Freshly launched for fun-filled holiday tables, Baskin-Robbins’ Brrr Snowman Cake won’t melt away anytime soon. The delicious delight with a button-nose and two eyes made out of chocolate remain on the menu throughout the month of January.

Toronto, January 4, 2021 – Baskin-Robbins launches this January its newest flavour, Nanaimo Bar, in honour of the popular dessert named after the picturesque city on the eastern shore of Vancouver Island. Featuring graham pieces, creamy French custard-flavoured ice cream, gooey ganache ribbon and chewy coconut pieces, the new flavour can be enjoyed in a cone or cup, or as part of a milkshake or sundae. It will be available at all 107 Baskin-Robbins shops across the country.

“We’ve been working on this special flavour for quite some time,” says Natalie Joseph, spokesperson for Baskin-Robbins in Canada. “Perhaps it’s felt long because I’ve been waiting desperately to sink my teeth into it. Now that I have, I can tell you it was worth the wait and effort. I can’t think of a better flavour with which to start 2022.”

Additionally, Baskin-Robbins is extending its newest cake offering, Brrr Snowman Cake, which was launched in December and has been met with great feedback from customers.

Throughout the pandemic, Baskin-Robbins Canada’s 107 shops have continued to serve their guests, including through delivery and takeout, while respecting provincial COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Please refer to the company’s store locator for hours of operation and service/delivery options in your community.
