The BCBGMAXAZRIA Friendsgiving dinner, hosted in Los Angeles, will be an interactive day full of activities, involving some of the most stylish names in the social media sphere: Model and actress, Olivia Culpo, lifestyle influencer and co-founder of clean skincare brand Summer Fridays, Marianna Hewitt and her partner Lauren Gores, fashion and lifestyle guru Paola Alberdi, as well as beauty influencer Melissa Alatorre.
BCBGMAXAZRIA understands the importance of social media influencers and providing the brand’s faithful supporters the opportunity to engage with their favorite influencer. Keeping charity at the core of the day, BCBGMAXAZRIA will partner with Meals on Wheels to prepare meals for at-risk senior citizens, to be delivered to homes throughout the Los Angeles area with Culver Palms Meals on Wheels. With nearly 9 million citizens facing the threat of hunger, BCBGMAXAZRIA opted to also use Friendsgiving as an outlet to give back to such an amazing cause. In light of the recent wildfires in California, BCBGMAXAZRIA will also be donating food items to the Palisades Fire Department, in an effort to support the heroic men and women working to quell the devastation these fires have taken on the community. Each meal will be curated and prepared by culinary connoisseur of Sweet Laurel Bakery and blogger behind The Kitchy Kitchen, Claire Thomas. Focusing on some of Claire’s signature creations, the meals will be a delightful variation on the conventional Thanksgiving meal, with herb roasted chicken, roasted root vegetables, caramelized apples and cherry tomato focaccia. Under the expertise of Claire, with help from attending influencers, each meal will be prepared at the Friendsgiving home and delivered to those who depend on this program for a hot meal and a friendly face, as well as the brave firefighters risking their lives to keep the defenseless safe.
