Steelheads’ Perspective
The addition of Avery provides the Steelheads with added depth and experience down the middle as the team looks to strengthen its roster for the 2025–26 season.
Vice President of Team Services & Business Operations Michael Hastings confirmed the deal in Thursday’s announcement, which was finalized ahead of the Steelheads’ upcoming exhibition and regular season schedule.
Looking Ahead
Avery joins a Brampton lineup that has been active in shaping its roster through offseason moves. With his OHL experience and NHL development camp exposure, Avery is expected to bring both leadership and skill to the Steelheads’ forward group.
