MISSISSAUGA — This Saturday, Building Bridges Psychotherapy, Ontario’s largest in-person psychotherapy network, will celebrate its 5-year anniversary with the grand opening of its new flagship location in Mississauga.
The community event will take place at 52 Village Centre Place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a ribbon cutting scheduled for 12:00 noon. Local dignitaries, representatives from the Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT), and community leaders are expected to attend.
Guests will be welcomed with free food, guided tours of the new space, and opportunities to meet clinicians and staff.
A Mental Health Milestone
The celebration coincides with World Mental Health Day, underscoring Building Bridges Psychotherapy’s mission to break barriers to care and provide inclusive, accessible mental health services across Ontario.
With more than 80 therapists delivering in-person and virtual care — and no waitlists — the network has become a trusted partner for individuals, families, schools, first responders, and military communities. Its Affordable Therapy Ontario program is also recognized for making counselling more financially accessible.
Leadership Statements
Sarah Michel, Vice-President of Outreach & Sales, emphasized the importance of the milestone:
“This milestone is more than a celebration of our growth — it’s about reaffirming our commitment to making quality mental health care accessible across Ontario.”
CEO Justin Michel highlighted the organization’s guiding principle:
“Our motto has always been that healing happens through connection. This new flagship space is a symbol of that commitment and a reminder that together we can reduce stigma and build stronger, healthier communities.”
