Toronto, ON — Caribbean culture is taking centre stage in Toronto this weekend as the inaugural Caribbean Vibrations Festival launches at Harbourfront Centre, transforming the city’s waterfront into a vibrant hub of music, food, and cultural pride.

Running Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, this free two-day celebration is presented by Caribbean Vibrations TV, Canada’s longest-running Caribbean television series, and promises an immersive experience showcasing the sights, sounds, and flavours of the Caribbean and its Diaspora.

“This festival has been years in the making,” said Alain P. Arthur, Executive Producer of Caribbean Vibrations TV. “We’re proud to bring together the sounds, flavors, and stories of the Caribbean under one roof to celebrate our shared identity and community spirit.”

Star-Studded Lineup of Caribbean Icons

Festival-goers can look forward to live performances from international cultural icons and musical powerhouses, including:

  • 🇹🇹 David Rudder – Legendary calypsonian and global ambassador of Trinidadian music

  • 🇨🇦 Ammoye – 7-time JUNO-nominated reggae-soul artist

  • 🏳️‍🌈 Tynomi Banks – International drag superstar of Jamaican heritage

  • ✍️ Dwayne Morgan – Two-time Canadian National Poetry Slam Champion

  • 🎶 Moses Revolution – Caribbean-born musicians blending traditional rhythms with Canadian soul
