Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show 2025 Set to Showcase Next-Generation Innovations

More than 750 suppliers and new technologies take centre stage at Toronto Congress Centre, Sept. 29–Oct. 2.

TORONTO – The future of Canadian manufacturing will be on display this week as the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS 2025) returns to the Toronto Congress Centre from September 29 to October 2. Organized by non-profit SME, the event has grown 20% in floor space compared to previous years and is expected to draw over 10,000 industry professionals.

As Canada’s largest national industry event, CMTS brings together advanced manufacturing leaders to share best practices, demonstrate new technologies, and explore strategies to build a resilient, competitive sector.

Cutting-Edge Technologies on Display

Among the most anticipated unveilings:

  • Matsuura MX-520T/PC-4 – A first-of-its-kind multi-task machine in Canada, offering both turning and milling in a single setup with a four-station pallet changer.

  • IoT Octopus by Innovate-Ops – An AI-powered industrial monitoring device that tracks equipment health, energy usage, and performance, enabling predictive maintenance and decarbonization of production.

  • Okuma OSP-P500 CNC Control Simulator – Next-generation control technology designed for greater usability, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency.

  • Mitutoyo QM-Fit – A fully automated digital profile projector delivering instant, high-accuracy pass/fail inspection results.

  • Modig IM-8 Machining Centre – A high-speed inverted machining system designed for industries with high-volume, complex production demands.
