Doug Ford Re-elected as Premier of Ontario, Conservatives Win Majority

Ontario Premier Doug Ford was re-elected as the Premier of Ontario last night with a landslide victory. The Premier has earned his second term in office and another 4 years to govern.

The Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario won 83 of the 124 available seats up from 67 seats at dissolution.

The voter turnout was at 43% down from 57 percent in the 2018 provincial election.
