Heather will continue to lead, inspire excellence, and support continuous improvement in her new role as Superintendent/Family of Schools. Historically, she has brought passion and commitment to all she does, and this will no doubt continue in her new, expanded role,” says Barrett.

DDSB Director of Education Lisa Millar is thrilled to add McAuley and Mundy to her senior team.

“Andrea is a proven leader with a track record of building relationships, developing people, setting direction and following through. She has a history of applying careful thought processes, initiating change where change is needed, and making a difference,” says Millar.

“Throughout her time at the DDSB, Heather has demonstrated her leadership and a unique ability to foster trusting relationships based on mutual respect. Her ability to empower staff, students and communities will allow her, and her Family of Schools, to thrive.”
