Easton Cowan has been instrumental in the London Knights’ successful playoff run, culminating in their second consecutive J. Ross Robertson Cup victory. In Game 5 of the OHL Championship Series, Cowan contributed a goal and an assist, helping the Knights secure a 5–2 win over the Oshawa Generals and clinch the series.

Throughout the playoffs, Cowan amassed an impressive 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) over 17 games, leading all players in postseason scoring. His outstanding performance earned him the Cogeco OHL Player of the Week honors for the week ending May 11, 2025.

Cowan’s playoff prowess also saw him break the Knights’ franchise record for most career playoff points, surpassing the previous mark held by Rob Schremp.

A Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, Cowan continues to demonstrate his potential as a future NHL standout. His combination of skill, vision, and determination makes him a deserving recipient of our Athlete of the Week recognition.
