Beginning today, Monday, December 12, eligible voters can check to see if they are on the January 23, 2023, by-election voters’ list for the French language public school trustee, Conseil scolaire Viamonde (Ward 3 – Centre) and French language Catholic school trustee, Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir (Ward 4 – Toronto Est).

Eligible voters can verify they are on the voters’ list by using MyVote: www.toronto.ca/city-government/elections/by-election/by-election-voter-information, calling 416-338-1111 or emailing VoterRegistration@toronto.ca.

If a qualified voter for this by-election is not on the list, they can add themselves:
•       When they go to vote in-person during advance vote on January 21 and 22, or on election day, Monday, January 23
•       By emailing VoterRegistration@toronto.ca
•       By calling 416-338-1111

In early January 2023, voters on the voters’ list can view, print or download their voter information card to their smartphone using MyVote.

Being on the voters’ list means that a voter will receive a voter information card that will make their voting experience faster and more efficient; however, it is not required to have a voter information card to vote. Eligible voters need to have their acceptable identification with them when voting. Required identification includes one piece with name and qualifying Conseil scolaire Viamonde (Ward 3 – Centre) or Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir (Ward 4 – Toronto Est) address.

For more voters’ list information, email VoterRegistration@toronto.ca or call 416-338-1111.
