The home build celebrates the culmination of Habitat’s national campaign “Home is the Key”

Heisman Trophy winners Marcus Allen, Tony Dorsett, George Rogers, Charlie Ward and Danny Wuerffel joined Habitat for Humanity and Nissan to build a real “Heisman House” alongside future Atlanta Habitat homeowner Ms. Shannon. The legendary athletes and soccer legend Pavel Pardo also led youth football and soccer clinics in collaboration with Nissan and the Heisman Trophy Trust. This is the fifth consecutive year Nissan has collaborated with Heisman Trophy winners to help build a Habitat home. The clinic and build culminated Habitat’s first nationwide campaign, Home is the Key, which ran throughout April, gathering corporate sponsors, celebrities and Habitat homeowners across the country for activities and build events. In addition, for every share of #HomeIsTheKey on social media, Nissan donated $1 to Habitat, up to $250,000, all month long.
