Good day to all F1 enthusiasts new and old, and welcome back for the 2023 F1 Championship Season. This season will be a record-breaking season, with 23 races scheduled. It is a brand-new season and anything can happen and will happen! Head-to-head action, fierce racing and gamesmanship between some of the lead front runners of the last few seasons.

Team Red Bull Racing will be gunning for their third straight title in three years. Ferrari and Mercedes will be looking to break that stranglehold and win the drivers and constructors title this upcoming 2023 season. Do they have the wits to challenge; We shall see! There could also be a new team trying to break into the top three, and that could very well be Aston Martin or Alpine.

The gap this season will be narrowing between the front runners and the midfield teams, which would be considered, Team Alpine, McLaren, Alpha Tauri, and Alfa Romeo, but also being pushed by the much-improved teams of Williams and Haas, to the final record-breaking season of 23 races.

Starting this weekend in Bahrain is The Bahrain International Circuit. The first Grand Prix took place here in 2004.  The track distance is 5.412km, and there are 57 laps for this race, with a total drive of 308.238km when all is seen and raced. Upon the two first laps being raced, the three DRS detection zones will be available to all the drivers. Pedro De La Rosa still has a lap record of 1.32.447 (2005).
