KINGSTON — The Oshawa Generals couldn’t keep pace with the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday night, falling 5–2 at Slush Puppie Place in front of 2,472 fans.


Game Recap

Oshawa opened the scoring early when Brooks Rogowski finished a feed from Anthony Timmerman and Harrison Franssen at 9:04 of the first period. But the Frontenacs quickly responded with three straight goals in less than nine minutes, seizing a 3–1 lead by intermission.

The Generals showed some fight early in the second when Jalen Lobo scored just 70 seconds in, assisted by Owen Griffin and Lucas Teixeira, cutting the deficit to 3–2. Kingston, however, restored their two-goal cushion minutes later with a tally from Tomas Pobezal, then put the game out of reach in the third when Robin Kuzma struck at 13:45.

Oshawa went 0-for-3 on the power play and were held scoreless in the final frame.

Despite the loss, assistant captain Harrison Franssen contributed a strong two-way game, picking up an assist on Oshawa’s opening goal and battling in all zones.
