Gusto Worldwide Media Announces Production of Four Original Series

ONE WORLD KITCHEN
Less than a year after announcing its plans to produce 100 hours of high-quality content every year, Gusto Worldwide Media confirmed today the production of four original cooking series, all being shot in 4K. 
 
The upcoming slate includes three new series FLOUR POWER, FRESH MARKET DINNERS, WATTS ON THE GRILL and the renewal of ONE WORLD KITCHEN. All programs, totalling 64 episodes, will be available for both digital and television platforms. As an Ottawa based producer, Gusto Worldwide Media will be shooting all productions in Ontario.
 
FLOUR POWER is a 13-episode baking series that will be shot in studio with Gusto newcomer Jessica McGovern. FRESH MARKET DINNERS is a 10-episode cooking series that will follow the host as she discovers local ingredients at farmer’s markets throughout Ontario. WATTS ON THE GRILL is a 13-episode barbeque series featuring fan favourite Spencer Watts of FISH THE DISH. Already well underway is the third renewal of the creative cooking series ONE WORLD KITCHEN, which will feature four new international cuisines, including: Greek, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Lebanese.
 
All original productions have been created by Executive Producer and industry veteran Chris Knight. Today’s announcement comes on the heels of Knight’s most recent James Beard Foundation Award win for FISH THE DISH. This year also marks his 20th year of producing food and lifestyle programming.

Our baking series is a unique concept that we’ve never done before. Everybody loves Spencer Watts, and we’re looking forward to showing off his barbeque talents. And our market series is going to inspire people to cook with fresh, local produce.”

NEW SERIES

FLOUR POWER (13 x 30-minute episodes)
FLOUR POWER is a fun, playful, and super-stylish baking show that is all about sharing the love and joy of baking and inspiring viewers to try it at home. From sweet cream pies to tiramisu, our beautiful and brainy host Jessica McGovern shows us just how easy it is to make it yourself.
 
FRESH MARKET DINNERS (10 x 30-minute episodes)
This fun road-trip series will bring viewers to several Farmer’s Markets around Ontario, where our endearing host discovers local ingredients and food products. In each episode, our host takes us back to a fabulous “glamping” site, where she shows us how to make irresistible yet simple recipes using fresh and local ingredients from the market.

WATTS ON THE GRILL (13 x 30-minute episodes)
Fan-favourite Spencer Watts (FISH THE DISH) brings the heat in this mouthwatering new series all about grilled food. Spencer shows us how to barbeque like a pro, from sizzling steak to smoked chicken to steamy seafood – and even flavourful fruit, veg, and breads.

RENEWAL

ONE WORLD KITCHEN (28 x 30-minute episodes)
ONE WORLD KITCHEN is returning for a third season with new and intriguing global cuisines. This highly-stylized series will feature modern and traditional Cantonese, Greek, Lebanese and Vietnamese recipes.
