Dr. Roger Skinner, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Toronto West Office, today announced that a date has been scheduled for the inquest into the death of Bradley Chapman.
Mr. Chapman, 43, was a homeless man who died in hospital on Aug. 26, 2015, after being found unresponsive on a city street.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Chapman’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest is expected to last five days and to hear from approximately 10 witnesses.
The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018, at the Forensic Services and Coroner’s Complex, Court Room A, 25 Morton Shulman Ave., Toronto. Dr. David Eden will preside as inquest coroner. Prabhu Rajan and Troy Harrison will be counsel to the coroner.
