Jacksonville, Florida will host Trump’s reelection bid. The Republican National Convention will be held there in August 24-27.  The chairwoman of the RNC McDaniel reported.

Florida has 29 Electoral college votes. Trump is unopposed for the nomination. Some 15,000 delegates are expected. Revenues of $100 million is expected to be earned by the city for hosting the convention. Jacksonville has a population of 1.5 million.

Popular Vote

In 2016 Donald Trump lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton, but won the Electoral college and the election.

Commentary

Will the George Floyd’s killing and the groundswell of support make this win impossible for Trump? Blacks, Hispanics and well thinking Americans must turn out to vote for change. Joe Biden, a Democrat, has a good chance at victory this time. The polls are pointing in his favour.
