
Mississauga, ON — Mississauga is embracing Pride Month with a series of events and initiatives throughout June, celebrating the 2SLGBTQI+ community and promoting inclusivity across the city.
The festivities commence with a Progress Pride flag-raising ceremony at City Hall on June 1 at 11 a.m., hosted in partnership with the Rainbow Sauga Alliance. Throughout the month, Pride flags will be displayed at all City-owned and operated facilities equipped with multiple flagpoles.

Additional events include Pride-themed book clubs at Lakeview Library on June 6 and Hazel McCallion Central Library on June 10. The Civic Centre Clock Tower will be illuminated in rainbow colors on June 1 and on other evenings in June when no alternate cause is scheduled for recognition.
Mississauga will also participate in Toronto’s annual Pride Parade on Sunday, June 29, starting at 2 p.m., alongside partners from the Rainbow Sauga Alliance. Furthermore, the Rainbow Sauga Alliance and Moyo Health and Community Services are co-hosting Peel Pride 2025 on Saturday, July 12, from noon to 4 p.m. Registration is required for this event.
Residents are encouraged to join these celebrations to honor Pride’s history and support an inclusive environment in Mississauga.
