Mississauga Steelheads Lose Game 3 of OHL Series Against Barrie Colts

The Mississauga Steelheads lost game 3 of their first round OHL Playoffs matchup against the Barrie Colts.  They were facing the Colts on the road in Barrie at Saldon Arena.  The Steelheads won the last game of the series and were heading into this game with the series tied.

The Steelheads only goal of the game was scored by James Hardie in the 1st period.

It was all Barrie besides that scoring 3 goals and walking away with the win in regulation.

Barrie Colts young goaltender Matteo Lalama had an impressive game stopping 28 of the 29 shots he faced. The Steelheads outshot the Colts 29 – 20 but were unable to come up with the win.

The Steelheads are now down in the best of 7 series 1 – 2.
