The diverse success stories commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary and more. The contemporary achievers are also highlighted in television biographies, a documentary film and interstitials, as a part of the Envision Canada initiative. Their achievements are in the community, corporate and public sectors. A panel under the direction of the Transformation Institute For Leadership & Innovation, and Silvertrust Media, the parent company of Envision Magazine, other publishing, broadcasting and special initiatives, selected them.

The Transformation Institute has set itself apart as the guardian of equitable collective memory. Since 2010, the institute’s Transformation Awards program has celebrated leaders and innovation. Many of the achievers in the book have been honoured at the gala or featured in the magazine. The 150 achievers are role models who are encouraged to mentor youth in the Crossover Mentorship Program, deliver life-changing lectures or support other causes in their respective communities. Published for the Transformation Institute by Silvertrust Media, the book features a special message by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, underscoring the need for such a unique publication. This collection of diverse success stories reflects the people of all parts of this amazing nation, including the Indigenous people of the land. The 150 Extraordinary Canadians legacy book profiles Hollywood’s Titanic director James Cameron; music superstar Celine Dion; astronaut Chris Hadfield; South Asian Canadian hotel and real estate magnate Dr. Steve Gupta; Indigenous architect Douglas Cardinal; Royal Bank President David McKay; Jamaican-born mutual funds billionaire Michael Lee-Chin, among others.

The full colour, glossy, coffee table book is to be in schools, libraries, homes, government and corporate offices across Canada, as well as in embassies and other places worldwide. It makes a perfect corporate and personal gift. Written by Moses A.
