Oshawa Generals Fall to the Kingston Frontenac 2- 6 in Game 4 of OHL Playoff Series

The Oshawa Generals were defeated at home in game 4 of their Eastern Conference first round playoff matchup against the Kingston Frontenac on Thursday night.  The Generals lost by a score of  2 – 6.

It was all goaltending in the first period with the score tied 0 – 0 after the first 20 mins. It was definitely an entertaining period with 19 shots taken on both nets.

The puck finally found the back of the net for the first time in the 2nd period when Kingston Frontenacs’ Paul Ludwinski scored a shorthanded goal. The first goal of the game and his fourth goal of the 2022 OHL Playoff season.

The Oshawa Generals scored twice in the second period with Captain Ty Tullio and Alternate Captain Bret Harrison both scoring goals. While for the Kingston Frontenac Defensive player Zayde Wisdom also scored a goal.

It was all Kingston Frontenac in the 3rd period scoring 4 goals and shutting out the Oshawa Generals to take the victory in regulation.

The Kingston Frontenac now take a commanding 3 -1 series lead heading back home to Kingston, Ontario for game 5.

Suspensions

Jordan Frasca of the Kingston Frontenac was suspended for 1 game and did not play in game 4.

Blake Smith of the Oshawa Generals was suspended 5 games for a hit he placed on Nathan Poole during game 3.  He also did not play in game 4.
