Pre-Game Brief: Toronto Maple Leafs vs Tampa Bay Lightning, Game 6

John Tavares of the Toronto Maple Leafs

Game 6 of the best of 7 series between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning will be bold, full of skill and full of speed.  Did I mention full of speed? Well let’s mention it again! The Tampa Bay Lightning do not have a answer for the Leafs speed.  Speed and more speed will dictate this game.

It’s time for the leafs to wrap up this series in 6 and move on to the next round of the NHL playoffs.

Look for  another a strong performance by William “Wheeler ” Nylander and team Defense

Jack Campbell;

” It’s a pivotal focus for us… That’s everything.. trying to get Spezza a ring.. and the for the city.  So a lot of motivation. “

Well said Jack!

Commentary

I’m expecting the Maple Leafs to play the same way as they did in game 5 of this series from the 2nd period and continuing on.

John Tavares and William Nylander got to get to the dirty areas of the ice and make things happen for the team.

Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner will continue to dazzle with their wizardry but look for Austin “The Bull Sniper” Matthews to mow down any Tampa Bay Lightning player that stumbles in his path.  Are you listening Patrick Marron?

Team defense and the outstanding play of Jack Campbell of the Toronto Maple will impress and be the key to victory for the Leafs in tonight’s game.

I predict the Leafs will win by a score of 3 – 1 and move on to the second round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Enjoy the game!

Let’s Go Leafs!
