
TORONTO ― Today, Premier Doug Ford issued the following statement to mark the beginning of Eid al-Adha:
“As Muslim families across Ontario and around the world come together to celebrate Eid al-Adha, we extend our warmest wishes of peace, joy and blessings to all those observing this sacred holiday.
This is a time to reflect on the values that are central to today’s holiday: compassion, generosity and helping others. It’s a reminder of the power of faith and the importance of supporting those in need.
Wishing a joyful Eid al-Adha to Muslim families across Ontario and around the world.

This special time also brings people closer together, whether that means prayer, sharing a meal or giving back to your community. It’s a chance to celebrate the strong, vibrant Muslim communities that are such an important part of our province.
