Today, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

The Prime Minister and the Mayor spoke about the challenges brought about by the global COVID-19 pandemic, and its disproportionate impact on the most vulnerable. They agreed on the importance of supporting economic recovery while containing the spread of the virus and its variants, and keeping people safe and healthy.

The Prime Minister and the Mayor spoke about the challenges of systemic racism and sexism, and discussed their efforts to tackle these critical issues and promote diversity and inclusion.

Prime Minister Trudeau also congratulated Mayor Khan on his election victory. They both looked forward to continuing their dialogue and collaboration.
