
Today, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with Yukon Premier Sandy Silver to offer congratulations on his re-election and discuss shared priorities.
The Prime Minister and Premier discussed the recent federal budget. They agreed to keep working together on many issues, including taking action to fight climate change in the North, and on other shared priorities including early learning and child care, housing, economic recovery, and moving forward on the shared path of reconciliation.
The two leaders agreed to continue their work to grow the middle class, create jobs, and make life better for Yukoners throughout and beyond the pandemic.
