RECAP of Sunday at the Olympics for Canada

Sunday was a quiet day in the medal department in Beijing for Canada’s Olympic hopefuls.
There were disappointing finishes in several events.

Here’s a RECAP of Sunday at the Olympics for Canada:

***Canadian Justine Dufour-Lapointe headed into the Women’s Moguls Final looking for a medal but crashed, ending her chances at reaching the podium for the third straight Olympics. She also had disappointing finishes in 2018 and 2014.

TAKE A LOOK:


***Justine’s sister ChloĂ© Dufour-Lapointe, the 2014 Olympic silver medalist finished in 9th place in the same Women’s Moguls event.

Two-time Olympic medalist Ted-Jan Bloemen who won silver in 2018 and finished in second place after qualifying had and upsetting finish as he placed 10th in the Men’s Speed Skating 5,000 m Final.  He skated the 5 kim in just over 6 minutes.
