Tuesday was an exciting day for team Canada. We won another GOLD medal and earned new more medals in all. With 17 Medals in all and now 2 golds, Canada sits at FIFTH place in the Olympic Medal Race.
Here is a RECAP of Tuesday at the Olympics for Canada!
***Canadian speed skaters Isabelle Weidemann, Ivanie Blondin and Valérie Maltais won Canada’s first ever GOLD medal in the Speed Skating Women’s Team Pursuit. Not only did these amazing Canadian women win GOLD, they also set a world record with a race time of 2:53.44.
TAKE A LOOK:
Canada’s Max Parrot celebrated his second medal of these Olympic games winning the BRONZE in the Snowboard Big Air Final. Parrot previously won the gold in the Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle. His Canadian teammate Mark McMorris who got the Bronze in Slopestyle finished 10th in the Big Air event.

***Adam Tambellini leads the Canadian Men’s Hockey team with 5 points as they beat team China in the last qualification round. The men will meet Sweden on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.
