Scarborough Shooting Stars beat Ottawa to improve to 16–4 in the CEBL
OTTAWA — The Scarborough Shooting Stars returned to the win column Wednesday night, defeating the Ottawa BlackJacks 113–106 at TD Place.
The victory gave Scarborough a measure of revenge after Ottawa handed the Shooting Stars a 102–89 home loss four days earlier. It also evened the four-game regular-season series between the Eastern Conference rivals at two victories apiece.
Scarborough entered Wednesday’s contest having already secured first place in the CEBL’s Eastern Conference. The win improved the Shooting Stars’ record to 16–4 as they prepare for the final four games of their regular-season schedule.
Ottawa fell to 9–11 amid a crowded race for the East’s remaining postseason positions.

Next Matchup
The Shooting Stars return home Friday, July 24, to face the Niagara River Lions at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
Scarborough will then host the Montreal Alliance on Sunday, July 26, at 4 p.m.
