Sports Crate Announces Collaboration with Topps® Baseball Cards

Limited Edition Topps® Baseball Cards, Including Rare Foil-Wrapped Cards Will Appear in Sports Crate Subscriptions

 Sports Crate™, the officially licensed subscription crate of the MLB, today announced its partnership with baseball card maker Topps, the exclusive trading card partner of Major League Baseball. With licenses from Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, Sports Crate along with Topps will provide fans with exclusive baseball cards in each month’s crate.

This collaboration also includes a special limited foil board set that will be randomly inserted in ten percent of Sports Crate team-focused subscriptions, making them highly sought after by collectors and fans alike.

Sports Crate, is set to launch this month with 10 teams initially, providing fans of the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers with exclusive apparel, collectibles, experiences and more every month.

The trading cards will debut in May’s “Bringing the Heat” themed crate, which focuses on each participating team’s pitchers. Star players who will be featured include Noah Syndergaard, Justin Verlander, Clayton Kershaw, Cole Hamels and Rick Porcello.

2017 Topps® Sports Crate Baseball cards will have two different sets of numbers, with the first set featuring one card for each team. The complete master set corresponds with the second number and has 50 cards.

Sports Crates are currently available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are limited to ensure their collectability. Sports Crates start at $39.99 per month and a five-month Season Pass subscription, which includes an exclusive MLB figure, is available for $179.99 per season.
