Under the terms of the deal, Brampton sends Ottawa a second-round pick in 2026 (Windsor), a second-round pick in 2027 (Barrie), a third-round pick in 2027 (Ottawa), a third-round pick in 2028 (Oshawa), a fourth-round pick in 2029 (Peterborough), and a sixth-round pick in 2027 (Brampton).

Former first-round pick joins Brampton
Amidovski was selected 11th overall by Ottawa in the first round of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. The 17-year-old native of Allison, Ontario has appeared in 86 OHL games, recording 30 points on eight goals and 22 assists.
During the current season, Amidovski has taken a notable step forward offensively. Through 34 games, he has already established career highs with eight goals, 14 assists, and 22 points, showing increased confidence and production at the OHL level.
Steelheads continue to invest in young talent
The acquisition reflects Brampton’s continued focus on adding young, developing players with proven draft pedigree and upside. By targeting a recent first-round selection, the Steelheads strengthen their forward group while committing significant draft capital to support their long-term roster strategy.
Amidovski is expected to integrate into the Steelheads lineup as the club continues its regular-season schedule at the CAA Centre.
