LONDON – The Brampton Steelheads secured their second straight victory, rallying in the third period to defeat the London Knights 2–1 at Canada Life Place.
London opened the scoring in the first period on the power play when Jared Woolley converted a setup from Linus Funck and Rene Van Bommel at 9:49. The Knights carried that 1–0 lead into the third.
Brampton stormed back late. At 5:44, Julian Demiglio tied the game off feeds from Kieran Witkowski and MacGregor Richmond. Just four minutes later, captain Gabriel Chiarot netted the go-ahead goal, assisted by Jakub Fibigr.
Goaltender Zach Bowen was sharp once again, making 15 saves and keeping Brampton in striking distance until the offense broke through.
